Natural Cotton and Jute
| Completely natural and not recycled. Recycling certain fabrics, like cotton, requires the use of a mixture of chemical fibres to ensure that the fabric is strong enough to reuse. This is because the sorting and shredding processes weaken the fibres of the original fabric. |
Biodegradable
| All our products are manufactured using natural, organic plant-based fibres. This means that they are 100% biodegradable, decomposing easily when exposed to biological agents in a range of environmental conditions. |
Sustainable
| Our products are sustainable because they are manufactured according to efficient, environmentally friendly processes. Creating Bags works with local suppliers to minimise our carbon footprint. |
"Jute and cotton are plant-based fibres known for their strength and capacity for re-use. Both types of fibre are also sensitive to microorganisms, meaning that they can naturally biodegrade in just a few months.
The use of 100% natural fibres in our products allows us to adopt more sustainable policies from manufacturing right through to eventual disposal.
Both the cotton and jute used by Creating Bags have been awarded AITEX certification. This means that they have been analysed for the presence of more than 300 harmful substances, ensuring that they comply with regulations to be suitable for commercialisation and human use."
